Build essential health and safety knowledge for the workplace
The Health and Safety Awareness (HSA) course is designed to provide learners with a fundamental understanding of health and safety responsibilities within the workplace. Suitable for individuals entering the construction, building services, engineering, and related industries, the course covers the importance of maintaining a safe working environment and understanding potential workplace hazards. Learners will gain the knowledge needed to contribute to a positive safety culture, reduce risks, and comply with health and safety legislation.
Course units
The course covers the principles of workplace health and safety, legal responsibilities, risk assessment, hazard identification, accident prevention, manual handling, working at height, personal protective equipment (PPE), fire safety, occupational health, and environmental awareness.
