Following on from our Advanced Guitar Course, the Jamming Session is the perfect opportunity to share musical ideas with other like minded people and work on performances, break down songs using a Bass guitar. The course offers the perfect opportunity to learn how to play with other people, and alongside guest musicians to further support and develop your skills as a guitar player.

The course will cover: • Improvisation and how to use it effectively • Strumming, picking, dynamics • Song writing basics, melodies and flow • The amplifier – how to use this effectively • Organising a performance, logistics, set up

At the end of this course, you will have a greater understanding of performance and have the confidence to play with other people, with an audience and have knowledge of how to put on a show.

Entry criteria
This course is a continuation from the Guitar Advanced course. The course is perfect for learners who want to play songs and develop as a performer, gain confidence and improvise with other musicians.
If you have the basics on the guitar or if you are just getting back into it, then this jamming session is perfect for you.

Please note you will need to bring your own guitar.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
