Develop your guitar playing skills even further. This course is for people who are playing beyond the basic level and would like to improve to a more fluid and accomplished level of playing. Join this entertaining, informative and inspiring course and move your guitar playing to a whole new level.
Building on your skills you will continue to play both on your own and with others in the group.

On this course you will cover more complex:- Guitar chords- Chord progressions- Strumming patterns- Finger-picking techniques and styles

By the end of the course you will have:- Improved your confidence as a musician- Enhanced your understanding of the instrument- Experienced several playing styles and techniques- Improved your musical understanding and appreciation of a variety of genres including blues guitar, rock guitar and classical guitar.

Please note you will need to bring your own guitar.

Entry criteria
This is a continuation course from Guitar Improvers. The course is aimed at learners who are beyond the basics, with more confidence or for those who have not played in a long time and need to brush up their skills.
Fee information
As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.

Learning & method assessment
The course will include a mixture of demonstration, observation and practical exercises. The tutor will be available to guide and support you throughout.

As this is a non-accredited course, there is no formal qualification. To track your progress and achievement you will be required to complete a short document.
