Develop your guitar-playing skills even further. This course is for people who are playing beyond the basic level and would like to improve to a more fluid and accomplished level.
Building on your skills you will continue to play as a group and solo playing will be introduced as your confidence grows.
You will cover:
• Guitar chords – more complex chord sequences
• Learn finger picking• Begin to play guitar on your own
• A variety of genres; blues guitar, rock guitar and classical guitar.

Entry criteria
This course is aimed a learners who have played the guitar before and are aware of the basics but would like to improve, or have not played in a long time and need to brush up their skills.
Fee information
As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.

Learning & method assessment
As this is a non-accredited course, a variety of teaching and learning methods will be used.
They will include demonstration, practical, 1 to 1 tuition and group work. Informal methods of assessment will be used.
To track your progress and achievement you will be required to complete a short document.
