This is the follow-on course from your Intermediate A course where you will continue to work on and improve your conversational skills as well as your understanding of dialogues and texts. The main aim of the course is to enable you to make yourself understood in a range of increasingly unpredictable everyday situations.
During this course you will work to improve your listening skills, develop a deeper understanding of grammatical structures, expand your vocabulary and increase your confidence in using the language in situations such as:

• report a theft, an incident or accident and describe what happened • talk about social relations and talk about a weeding • use the imperfect to talk about modern life and life in the past

Entry criteria
This course is designed for students who have completed the first part of the Intermediate level (Intermediate A) or who studied Greek for about two academic years, use the present tense confidently and can describe complete actions in the past. The standard approximates to Level A2 in terms of the Common European Framework.

Learning & method assessment
Learning activities will mainly be organised in pair work/small groups. Homework every week will be based on a summary sheet of the lesson for you to review in your own time. There will be no formal examination.
To track your progress and achievement you will be required to complete a short document.
