During this workshop you will be able to extend your skills and techniques involved in Glass Fusing. You will make a set of glass coasters inspired by the artist Mondrian.
- We will briefly look at the Art of Mondrian as inspiration for our set of coasters.

- We will focus on pattern, colour and design and use both sheetglass and glass noodles in our design.

- A quick tutorial and demonstration on glass cutting, suitable tools and how to use them will be given.

- We will look at examples and discuss how glass reacts when fired in a kiln.

- Guidance on design ideas and use of colour will be covered and we will discuss how to create a pattern and theme within our set of coasters.

- The coasters will be taken away to be fired and returned to the venue for collection.

This course is suitable for beginners as well as those with previous experience of Glass fusing.
