Challenge yourself with advanced conversation, critical analysis, and deep cultural exploration across the Francophone world.
This course is designed for learners with an advanced command of French. You’ll refine your fluency and stretch your ability to engage in formal, informal, and colloquial French through complex discussions, presentations, and debates.

You will work with a rich variety of authentic materials including TV and radio segments, books, films, theatre plays, poetry, scientific reports, interviews, and legal texts. Themes include cultural events, democracy, equality, innovation, climate change adaptation, environmental law, travel writing, and personal reflections.

The course encourages you to exchange ideas, analyse texts, express and defend opinions, and apply grammar, vocabulary, and idiomatic expressions in context. You'll also explore sociocultural topics from France and other French-speaking regions, with a strong focus on “la Francophonie” and its diverse cultural contributions.

This is a dynamic and intellectually stimulating course ideal for those looking to refine their fluency and broaden their understanding of the French-speaking world.
