Oxford Central LibraryThe course focuses on real-world topics and sociocultural themes, including science, innovation, legal rights, social issues, art, and literature. You will explore a wide range of authentic resources such as TV and radio excerpts, interviews, book and comic (bande dessinée) extracts, theatre plays, poetry, reportages, and legal documents.
Discussions will cover themes like equality, technology, the environment, and personal and historical narratives. You’ll be encouraged to analyse content, debate with peers, and express opinions using accurate grammar, advanced vocabulary, and idiomatic expressions. The course also includes exploration of “la Francophonie,” offering insights into the cultural diversity of French-speaking countries.
