This A course enlarges the language vocabulary acquired previously at a beginner level. It allows you to depict people's life, to change appointments and apologise in various circumstances, to ask for information and arrange activities.
On this course you will:

-describe daily and weekly occupations- talk about characters and their life, their issues, goals and hobbies.- express likes and dislikes, personal interests- explain a delay, a change of plans in a travel and apologise- make and change appointments with contact details- plan for an outing, leisure activities, gathering local information and advice"

Entry criteria
To enrol at that level in French, you should be able to read the time, count at least up to 100, and construct sentences for actions taking place now or in the near future with essential verbs (actions) like to be, to have, to work, to phone, to look at, to give, to like, to dislike, to do, to go, to leave, to meet. Revision of these will be included. This course is at an A2 level (following a Beginner level) in the Common European Framework of Languages. recommended book: TALK FRENCH 2 published by the BBC

Learning & method assessment
Learning activities will mainly be organised in pair work/small groups. Homework every week will be based on a summary sheet of the lesson for you to review in your own time. There will be no formal examination.
To track your progress and achievement you will be required to complete a short document.
