This course comes just after the FRENCH IMPROVERS B course. Participants will start reporting incidents, issues, remembering some holidays and planning others. They will practice some past tense. Medical terms for ailments and the vocabulary for suggestions will also be learnt.
This C course covers reporting a problem, saying what you did in a past holiday, describing the weather and reading a weather forecast, planning a new holiday, inviting friends or colleagues to share a meal.

This course is at an A2 level (following a beginner level) in the Common Framework of Reference for languages. Book recommended : French Talk 2 published by the BBC.

Free parking onsite, bus stop outside. Bring own refreshments if needed. No class during half term.

What next?
The next level is the FRENCH INTERMEDIATE A, it develops over 3 terms A-B-C at a B1 level (in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
Entry criteria
To enrol on the Improvers C level, you should be able to explain in French a situation occurring now, to describe the actions of people around you, and name at least five leisure activities, the months of the year and the days of the week, read the clock and pronounce numbers at least up to 100, preferably numbers with four digits.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.

Learning & method assessment
Learning activities will mainly be organised in pair work/small groups. Homework every week will be based on a summary sheet of the lesson for you to review in your own time. There will be no formal examination. To track your progress and achievement you will be required to complete a short document.
