This course follows directly from the French Improvers A course. You will talk of leisure activities, ask and provide advice, rent an accommodation, buy items in shops. You will start using a few actions at the past tense and express wishes and queries. This course is at an A2 level (following a Beginner level) in the Common European Framework for languages.
In this B course, you will get local information about activities to try, equipment to take, advice on transport and safety, read property adverts, write an email for queries, describe a gite or a house and book an accommodation, pronounce numbers with 6 digits, buy items including clothes with size, fabric, colour.

Free parking onsite, bus stop outside. Bring own refreshments if needed. No class during half term.

Entry criteria
To enrol on this course, you should be able to translate French numbers up to 100, to ask questions about people or places, have a knowledge of common verbs (actions) like to visit, to go, to take, to try, to ask for, to book, to look for. You should read the time, name the days of the week and the months of the year. Book recommended: TALK FRENCH 2 published by the BBC

Learning & method assessment
We commit ourselves to accommodate different learning styles through a variety of activities in class. There is no exam to sit and no qualification to obtain apart from a Certificate of Attendance for a specific level of language. However, the complexity of the tasks offered will evolve according to the progression of your language skills and will demonstrate your acquisition of new competences.
