You have been on a journey of learning that has taken you through the basics of the language. Now is the time to really expand that base with a fluency course. You have the opportunity to present stories, to comment on artistic representations of your choice, to analyse past events and enigmas with suppositions, and to contribute to debates.
You will inspire these courses as this is all about taking a topic you want to work collectively with and unfolding and expanding it so that you begin to feel like you are becoming immersed in your discussions and thoughts. Using a wide range of tenses, you will narrate stories and tales, revive an era, constructively criticise photos and paintings, participate into a film or a book review, reveal creative and cultural activities in a town or region, reflect on changes in society. This is about practising in a safe environment to help you on your further engagement with the language and the culture.

"Facilities at Abingdon Campus:- Vending machines and Costa Coffee shop (open until 7pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday term time only).- Watercoolers available, making it easy to refill your water bottle.- Free parking. Please note due to half term there will be no session on 19/02/2026."
