Step into a world where floristry is more than just arranging flowers, it’s about storytelling, sustainability, and discovering beauty in the unexpected: Seasonal Celebration of Nature, Creativity & Sustainable Design.
This hands-on workshop invites you to embrace the rich, textured beauty of the colder months, working with nature’s seasonal offerings to craft something truly unique. In this one-day immersive experience, you’ll explore the magic of autumnal hues and winter’s natural textures while mastering essential floral techniques. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced floral enthusiast, you’ll leave not just with a stunning handmade arrangement, but with the skills and confidence to create seasonal floral art at home.This workshop celebrates resourcefulness and creativity, using locally sourced, foraged, and repurposed materials to craft sustainable yet unique floral pieces.

By the end of this workshop, you will walk away with your beautiful autumnal floral creations, newfound floristry skills, and an appreciation for working in harmony with nature.

All materials will be provided, but please bring:A pen & notebookA pair of floristry scissorsString or twineA camera to capture your workAn apron (things can get messy!)We recommend wearing closed, comfortable shoes.

Free parking. No refreshments available at venue, please bring with you. The school have a Nut-Free Policy - no foods containing nuts.

Introduction to Sustainable Floristry-The principles of eco-conscious floral design-Working with rich, warm autumn tones and natural textures

Foraging & Sustainable Sourcing-Discovering and selecting seasonal elements from gardens, woodlands, and local growers-Tips on responsibly gathering storm-fallen branches, dried seed heads, berries, and foliage

Hand-Tied Seasonal Bouquets-Creating a loose, natural bouquet using a mix of fresh flowers, foliage, and foraged materials-Techniques for spiralling stems and achieving a balanced, organic design

Foam-Free Vase Arrangement-Designing a stunning, sustainable centrepiece using autumnal flowers and foliage-Learning structural techniques for creating shape and movement without floral foam

Entry criteria
No previous knowledge or experience is necessary. All welcome.

Please note - you should be 19 years old or over at 31st August 2026 prior to starting the course.

Fee information
The fee paid covers the flowers and equipment you will need for the day, apart from the items listed in the Course Overview. This workshop includes a material fee that provides essential resources and hands-on demonstrations, empowering you to achieve your learning goals and master new skills with confidence.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
