What the course will cover:

The basic routine for each session is as follows:· A warm-up consisting of a pulse raiser, mobiliser and short stretch which prepares the body for the aerobic section.· The aerobic section is a mixture of high and low impact exercises. The tutor will demonstrate alternative exercises so that you can work at your own level.· The cool down will include exercises that lower your pulse, muscular strength and endurance exercises (for the tummy, thighs and improved posture) then a cool down stretch and a remobiliser to finish.

Routines will be varied to incorporate different styles such as, cha, cha, cha; Charleston; modern jazz and pop.

Enjoying movement is important. Please wear comfortable clothes, such as leggings, exercise trousers and T-shirt. Suitable shoes must be worn to provide support and absorb shock, for example trainers.
