This Microsoft Excel course is ideal for those who have a basic working knowledge of Excel and wish to advance their skills.
Topics include:• Creating and modifying formulas• Formatting or modifying text by using formulas• Displaying and printing formulas• Presenting data visually• Creating and formatting charts• Sorting and filtering data• Searching and sorting• Working with pivot tables.

Please note that the college uses windows-based systems not apple-based systems. This does not preclude you from using your apple product however please be aware that there can be slight differences in how you approach certain applications that are primarily written by Microsoft for windows.

There is no parking on Campus during the day. Please use Marriotts Walk or Woodford Way car parks which are a few minutes' walk away.Please report to Reception on arrival. A photo-ID will be issued for you to wear when attending classes.Vending machines are available.

Entry criteria
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. It is preferable for learners to have some experience using Excel.

Please note - you should be 19 years old or over at 31st August 2026 prior to starting the course.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
