It is estimated that one in five adults lack basic digital skills. This qualification aims to enable learners to develop the digital skills they need for life, work, or further study. At Entry Level 3, the focus is on developing digital skills for life and introducing learners to digital skills for work. At Level 1 the focus is primarily on digital skills for work with a secondary focus on digital skills for life.
The content of the qualifications is based on the National standards for essential digital skills April 2019. This qualification will enable learners to develop the digital skills they need for life, work, or further study as set out in the National standards for essential digital skills. This course is designed to assess the preparedness of a learner to undertake the full qualification. Alongside your tutor you will decide on your path forward after fully assessing your present skillset.
