Witney CampusThe content of the qualifications is based on the National standards for essential digital skills April 2019. This qualification will enable learners to develop the digital skills they need for life, work, or further study as set out in the National standards for essential digital skills. This course is designed to assess the preparedness of a learner to undertake the full qualification. Alongside your tutor you will decide on your path forward after fully assessing your present skillset.
Please note that the college uses windows-based systems not apple-based systems. This does not preclude you from using your apple product however please be aware that there can be slight differences in how you approach certain applications that are primarily written by Microsoft for windows.
There is no parking on Campus during the day.
Please use Marriotts Walk or Woodford Way car parks which are a few minutes' walk away.
Please report to Reception on arrival.
A photo-ID will be issued for you to wear when attending classes.
Vending machines are available.
You will be invited to a short interview with the course leader. You will also be required to undertake an English Skills assessment as well as an initial assessment of your current digital skills to ensure you are applying to the correct level.
Please note - you should be 19 years old or over at 31st August 2026 prior to starting the course.
As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
