This course is suitable for people who are involved in the diagnosis and repair of Electric/Hybrid vehicles and have already completed our IMI Level 2 award in Electric/Hybrid vehicle routine maintenance. The design of this course will give you the skills and knowledge to work safely on electric and hybrid vehicles during diagnostic testing and repairs.
The Level 3 course covers one mandatory unit that include the following actives:

• working safely on an electric/hybrid vehicle

• using information to carry out the task

• carrying out repairs on high energy electrical systems

• recording information and making suitable recommendations

This course can be book at the same time at the booking for the Level 2 course.

Course units
Level 3 IMI Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement solate, carry out safety checks and disconnect a high energy system battery
Remove and test the suitability of a high energy system component
Refit and reinstate component, carry out safety checks and reset vehicle systems post-repair.
