This course is for people who have experience within the motor trade, this can be as a technician, service advisor, parts person, salesperson or management however this experience is not essential.
The Level 2 course will give you the relevant skills and knowledge necessary to work safely around Electric and Hybrid vehicles during routine maintenance and repair. This does not include working on high voltage components or systems.

The course contains one mandatory unit that covers knowledge of the following:

• electric/hybrid vehicle system components and operation.

• hazards surrounding electric/hybrid vehicles

• how to reduce the risks to yourself and others when working on electric/hybrid vehicles

• safely preparing the vehicle when carrying routine maintenance (NOT high voltage components or systems)

What next?
Progression from this course will be our level 3 qualification where you will work on disconnect the high voltage and test for absence of high voltage.
