This programme is designed for adult learners who have completed an introductory photography course and wish to further develop their technical skills, creative confidence, and personal photographic direction. Across three progressive units, learners will move from strengthening core photographic techniques to developing a sustained project, and finally to producing and presenting a cohesive portfolio of work.
The course is structured around a combination of practical image-making, critical discussion, and independent creative development, supporting learners in building both confidence and a more individual photographic approach. Learners will deepen their technical knowledge while exploring visual approaches relevant to their chosen genre. The unit culminates in a final presentation, where learners share a portfolio of images that reflects their development across the programme.

Activities in this unit include: - Selecting and editing images from previous work - Exploring sequencing and visual consistency within a portfolio - Learning basic post-processing techniques to prepare images for output - Preparing images for both print and digital formats - Writing short statements to describe their photographic work - Practising verbal presentation and discussing their work in a group setting

There will be no class during half-term.Free parking. No refreshments available at venue, please bring with you. The school have a Nut-Free Policy - no foods containing nuts.
