Abingdon CampusFinding a subject and then being able to compose an interesting image is the real challenge of photography. During the course you will: • Learn how ‘to see’ a photograph in a variety of settings. • Basic processing of RAW files and Photoshop techniques to get the best from your image.• File and complete your picture. • Outline steps of publishing your own photo-book and the tutor will publish a book of everyone’s pictures as a group project.• Notes covering the content of each session are emailed out so you can build up a complete reference of everything covered. By the end of the course you will have had the opportunity to: • Understand what makes a good photograph.• Process and edit your photographs using basic techniques.• Submit work to a group project photobook.
In addition to eight classroom sessions there will be two 3hr week-end practical sessions 10am-1pm - further details of location and dates during the course.
