An enjoyable and practical visual exploration of Oxford Botanic Garden designed to suit your own needs, whether you are a beginner or have previous experience.
You will have opportunity to draw from natural forms in detail, producing studies, or explore depth through landscape composition. We will explore the use of different dry materials: pencils, charcoal, pastels and experiment with some watercolour washes.

The course is structured to introduce use of techniques and different media with a focus on development of your work and ideas with an experienced tutor. You will work as a group initially to gain confidence in producing your own range of sketchbook work as well as more finished pieces.

What next?
This course can lead on to a Mixed Ability level drawing or painting course. 10-week Adult Learning Courses.
