Discover the exciting skills of drawing and painting and create your own unique art work. Learn a wide range of drawing and painting techniques. This intensive course provides the necessary information about the tools and techniques of drawing and painting and is structured to suit learners’ pace and prior abilities.
This course is designed to suit your individual needs, whether a novice or more experienced in drawing and painting.

See what you can produce after ten sessions and amaze yourself!

You will: · Explore creative processes of art project development · Enjoy working with different materials and techniques to suit your needs · Explore use of line, tone, composition, pattern, shape, tonal value, colour and texture · Express your creative ideas through group discussions · Explore and develop your personal style with support from your tutor

What you need to bring to each session: -A2/A3 sketch book or cartridge paper 160 grams -A range of pencils eg, HB, 2B, 4B -Eraser -Sharpener

Your tutor will advise you of any other materials you may need as the course progresses.

In order to avoid disappointment, it is advisable to enrol at least 2 ½ weeks prior to the course starting. We will confirm course information two weeks prior to the start date.

Please note there will be no teaching session on 28/10/24.

None required for this course as it accommodates complete beginners or those with prior experience.
Fee information
You are expected to provide your own paint, which might cost you up to £20. Tutor will advise at the first session on paints etc.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
