Course units
The course covers the principles of domestic ventilation, relevant Building Regulations, ventilation system types, system selection, installation requirements, commissioning procedures, testing, maintenance, fault identification, and best practice for ensuring effective indoor air quality. Learners will develop an understanding of intermittent extract ventilation, continuous mechanical extract ventilation, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR), and the role ventilation plays in energy-efficient homes.
