Learn to design stunning summer containers with perennials and pollinator-friendly plants. Explore plant selection, colour combos, and care through theory and demos.
• Principles of designing sustainable summer containers• Selecting perennials and pollinator-friendly plants• Understanding plant care needs (sun, soil, and watering requirements)• Combining plants for colour, texture, and structural balance• Choosing suitable containers and affordable options• Demonstration of planting techniques and design ideas

Demo plants are available for cash purchase.• Common challenges and maintenance tips for long-lasting displays• Opportunity to purchase plants used in the demonstration (cash only)

No previous knowledge or experience necessary. All welcome.
Fee information
A £5 materials fee will cover supplies for the Summer Containers session. Additional materials may be required for practical activities, with some items available for purchase.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
