NEW for 2026! Take the next step in your professional journey with the CPCAB Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling - Level 5. This advanced qualification is designed for experienced counsellors who want to deepen their knowledge, refine their skills, and work at a higher level of practice. Please note this course is currently subject to validation.
This programme focuses on developing your ability to work with complex client issues, integrating advanced psychotherapeutic approaches, and preparing you for independent practice or progression into specialist roles. You’ll explore a range of theoretical models, ethical considerations, and advanced techniques to support clients effectively.

Assessment is via a Portfolio of evidence, case studies, and practical skills demonstrations.

Entry Requirements: CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (or equivalent) and current counselling practice

This course is eligible for funding through the Lifelong Learning Entitlement (LLE), which supports study at Levels 4–6. For more information, visit www.gov.uk/lifelong-learning-entitlement. Applications for funding can be made from September 2026.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
