Discover the timeless appeal of classic dishes in our Taste of the Classics cookery course. This course is perfect for anyone looking to master the art of traditional cooking, focusing on iconic recipes that have stood the test of time. From hearty comfort foods to elegant gourmet meals, you will learn the essential techniques and secret ingredients that makes these dishes unforgettable. Our tutor will guide you through a variety of classic recipes, teaching you the fundamentals of sauces, seasonings and cooking methods. By the end of the course you will be able to recreate iconic, classic dishes that are satisfying and delicious.
Each week will focus on a different classic dish or cooking method such as; soups and stocks, sauces and sautes (French Cuisine), hearty mains, pasta and risotto, British dishes, American diner dishes, Spanish and Mediterranean flavours and classic Asian cuisine. This will include hands-on cooking sessions, tips for perfecting each dish and guidance on now to incorporate classic techniques.

Each week you will be required to bring ingredients for the dishes and some basic kitchen utensils.You will receive an email before the start of the course with details of the ingredients and equipment you will need for your first lesson.

You will need to buy food ingredients. You will receive an email before the start of the course, informing you of the ingredients and equipment you will need for your first lesson.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
