Abingdon CampusThroughout the course, you will explore:• Planning and maintaining a productive allotment throughout the year• Improving soil health, composting, and boosting fertility• Selecting crops for continuous harvest and seasonal variety• Making the most of available space through succession planting and crop rotation• Effective watering, pest management, and natural disease prevention• Managing weeds and enhancing biodiversity on your plot• Practical demonstrations of core allotment techniques• Developing a personalised allotment plan to ensure ongoing success
By the end of the course, you’ll have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to create a thriving, sustainable allotment or garden that flourishes across all seasons.
Please note there are no classes during half term.
