Off SiteThe course is designed for learners with appropriate on-site experience, including responsibilities for supervising work activities. The course covers essential aspects of managing and maintaining workplace systems, ensuring health, safety, and environmental protection, and effectively planning and controlling site operations. Participants will learn to coordinate resources, foster good working relationships, and ensure quality and efficiency in construction projects. Units are the following: Maintaining Systems for Health, Safety, Welfare, and Environmental Protection in the Workplace.
Throughout the apprenticeship, you will have opportunities to demonstrate the required competence through practical evidence.
Through the course, you will gain a wide range of knowledge and skills, and develop your practical skills through research, independent study, directed study, and workplace scenarios. Your vocational study will help you to develop key behavioural and transferable skills which are highly valued in both higher education and in the workplace, such as communication, teamwork, research, and analysis.
By the end of your Level 4 apprenticeship, you will have a sound knowledge of supervising on site and competence in a range of subject-specific skills.
