This course will help you take your first steps towards a career in the Digital Technology industry. Through a combination of practical experience and written assignments, the course provides learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding needed for a successful career in this fast-paced industry sector.
Using our state-of-the-art facilities, you will learn a range of technical, practical and academic skills in order to prepare you for a career in the industry, an apprenticeship or further study. The course focuses on common computer applications and the technical skills valued by employers in the workplace which will enable you to become a vocationally trained and an adaptable individual in this challenging and fast-moving industry.

What next?
You have different options. You can progress to the T Level in Digital Production, Design and Development, go into an Apprenticeship or study an alternative level 3 qualification within Further Education.
Entry criteria
4 GCSES at grade 3 including English or Maths OR a Level 1 pass in a related subject plus English or Maths, and both English and Maths must be at least grade 2 / Level 1 Functional Skills.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
