This course is an introduction to Digital and Computing with a focus on progressing on to Level 2 learning.
On this course you will learn a range of practical, personal and academic skills to prepare you for a career in the digital/computing industry, a Level 2 course or an Apprenticeship.

You will learn about programming skills, web design, and digital skills; as well as focusing on your personal development and preparation for work and/or progression to further study.

Course units
Personal development units- Preparing for work, interview skills, presentation skills, team building, time management and project management
Practical skills- Web design, introduction to coding, using specific software and hardware
What next?
Level 2 Transition course in computing/digital or any level 2 full time or apprenticeship
Entry criteria
English & Maths GCSE at grade 2 or Level 1 Functional Skills in both subjects
