This course is designed for individuals with some prior experience in coaching or mentoring who are keen to further develop their skills. At its heart, this programme will function as a Community of Practice, providing a supportive space for shared learning and growth.
Participants will explore key principles of coaching and mentoring through reflective discussions, peer coaching sessions, and the analysis of recorded conversations. By examining the tools and techniques used by experienced coaches and mentors, we will gain deeper insights into effective practice.

A central focus will be on identifying and addressing our own blind spots. Through open dialogue, we will navigate challenges, share strategies for overcoming obstacles, and learn collaboratively from each other's experiences.

The course is led by an experienced coach who specialises in making coaching and mentoring concepts accessible. Combining practical application with reflective learning, they will create an engaging and supportive environment where participants can confidently expand their skills.

Topics we will explore include:

- Building trust and psychological safety in coaching conversations

- Effective questioning and active listening techniques

- Managing challenging conversations and difficult dynamics

- Recognising and addressing personal biases and blind spots

- Exploring different coaching models and frameworks

- Giving and receiving feedback in a constructive manner

- Maintaining boundaries and ethical practice in coaching and mentoring

- Developing reflective practice and continuous learning

This course offers a valuable opportunity to refine your coaching approach, build confidence, and strengthen your ability to support others.
