Take Your Chinese (Mandarin) Further: Improve Speaking, Listening & Writing Skills
In this course, you’ll continue building your Chinese skills, focusing on practical communication in everyday situations. Key topics covered will include:

Giving directions: Learn how to direct someone to their hotel.Verb tenses: Practice using the present progressive ("The door is opening"), present perfect simple ("I have seen that movie twice"), and future simple ("The New Year is coming") tenses.

This course will help you develop stronger speaking and listening skills, while introducing you to Chinese radicals for better understanding of characters. You’ll also learn grammar structures to support fluent conversation and be able to write simple texts on the topics covered.

Cultural insights, including Chinese traditions and festivals, will be part of your learning experience. To get the most out of this course, expect a small amount of homework each week to reinforce your learning.
