Discover and enrich your cooking experience of Chinese plant‑based traditional dishes in a fun and welcoming kitchen.
This course will display an interesting and diverse world of Chinese vegetarian cooking in front of learners, where flavour, technique, and cultural storytelling come together in each session. By the end of this course, learners will be able to prepare a range of Chinese vegetarian dishes and understand the cultural context behind them, and bring new skills and inspiration into their everyday cooking. Each session blends hands‑on practice with introduction of regional Chinese food traditions, key Chinese ingredients and the philosophy behind each cuisine. Learners will also learn essential knife skills, classic cooking methods (such as stir‑frying, steaming, braising, and dumpling‑making), and the art of balancing texture, aroma, and colour.
Parking onsite, bus stop outside and no class during half term.
