An exploration and enhanced hands-on experience to integrate spicy, fiery and fragrant spices together in Sichuan style classic cuisine in Chinese cookery.
This workshop aims to introduce the unique cooking style and classic dishes in Sichuan cuisine - one of China’s most celebrated regional food traditions. This workshop blends hands‑on practice with introduction of Sichuan flavour principles, including: mala (numbing‑spicy), aromatic heat, savoury depth by using various Sichuan’s unique ingredients, such as numbing peppercorns, dried chillies, doubanjiang (broad‑bean paste), red chilli oil, etc., and with story-telling and philosophy behind each dish.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
