Bring your ideas to life as a complete illustrated story! Learn how images can work together to share ideas, capture moods, and tell a story in a fun and engaging way.
In this creative and hands-on course, students learn how to craft a complete illustrated story from start to finish. Lessons cover narrative pacing, page layout, sequencing, and continuity, while also helping students refine their illustration techniques. You’ll experiment with combining characters, scenes, and colour to tell your story visually. By the end of the term, each student will have a complete illustrated storybook - a finished project to enjoy, share, and celebrate.

Please note there are no classes during half term.

Continue practicing independently, exploring new media and story ideas. Optional workshops or community classes in advanced illustration, character design, or picture book creation
Entry criteria
Completion of Term 01 and Term 02, or equivalent experience with drawing and basic illustration techniques. Interest in storytelling through pictures

Please note - you should be 19 years old or over at 31st August 2026 prior to starting the course.

This course/workshop includes a material fee that provides essential resources and hands-on demonstrations, empowering you to achieve your learning goals and master new skills with confidence.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
