The objective of this training course is to enable individuals to become familiar with the contents of the Regulations and Byelaws across the four nations.

Becoming an approved contractor with your local water authority can generate new revenue as well as providing the ability to self-certify small works avoiding costly delays on site.

This course is also a requirement for those wishing to attend the BPEC Level 3 Award in Air Source Heat Pump Systems.

The training may also be relevant to people not wishing to become approved but whose role involves having knowledge of compliance with the Regulations and Byelaws. Such as designers, specifiers, and site managers.

• Understand what the Regulations and Byelaws mean and recognise the role of the Regulations and Byelaws in preventing waste, misuse, undue consumption, contamination, and erroneous measurement of water.

• Know how to practically comply with the Regulations and Byelaws in practice. Be aware of the primary and secondary legislation underpinning the Regulations and Byelaws.

• Understand the documents used to enhance and explain the meaning of the Regulations and Byelaws

• Prepare individuals for Water Regulations training and assessment.
