An enjoyable time to discover techniques, explore creativity and share beautiful bakes together.
This workshop aims to introduce essential baking techniques (such as reaming, folding, rubbing-in, shaping, temperature control, etc.) and classic afternoon tea items (such as biscuits, cakes, pastries, shortbread, etc.) as well as culture and history of afternoon tea.

Introduction and hands-on application of key afternoon tea baking ingredients by using essential baking equipment and techniques to make classic afternoon items, such as biscuits and shortbreads, cakes and sweet treats.

You will need to bring your own ingredients/equipment and we will advise beforehand.

Free parking. No refreshments available at venue, please bring with you. The school have a Nut-Free Policy - no foods containing nuts.

Please note - you should be 19 years old or over at 31st August 2026 prior to starting the course.

You will need to bring your own ingredients/equipment and we will advise beforehand. This workshop includes a material fee that provides essential resources and hands-on demonstrations, empowering you to achieve your learning goals and master new skills with confidence.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
