You will gain an understanding of the diverse ways in which mental health problems affect an individual and those around them and identify self-help resources and local support services.

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification but because this is a Level 2 qualification you will need to be working at English Level 1.5. All applicants will have to complete an online initial assessment to evidence their English level prior to enrolment. It is also recommended that you have good time management skills, are able to meet deadlines and possess good independent study skills. Please note - you should be 19 years old or over on 31st August 2024 prior to starting the course.

There is no fee payable for this course.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.

Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems

This is a self-directed online course. Learners are enrolled onto an online platform to access the course content. At the end of each unit, you will complete and submit a written (online) assignment. You will have four months to complete the course.
