This course is designed for those who already work, or wish to work, as teachers/trainers in the lifelong learning sector (post 16 education).
This is an industry-standard award for anyone involved in training in the post-16 sectors, providing the first steps towards gaining a recognised teacher training qualification. It is an introductory qualification for those who are about to embark on any form of teaching or training and who need to gain a basic toolkit of teaching and learning strategies. Entry is subject to an interview.
What next?
Students can progress onto the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.
