This course invites you to slow down and enjoy a nurturing blend of mindfulness and art‑making.
Each session opens with a short relaxation activity - breathing, visualisation, or mindful awareness - helping you release tension and shift into a creative headspace.

You’ll then be guided through peaceful techniques such as embossing for tactile creativity, Zentangle®‑inspired line work for concentration and flow, and intuitive drawing and painting for expressive freedom. Gentle mixed‑media projects give you the chance to try new materials in a relaxed, pressure‑free environment.

By the end of the term, you’ll have created a collection of meaningful pieces and built practical habits for using art and relaxation to support your wellbeing long beyond the course.

There will be no class on 04/05/2027 or during half-term.Parking is available on Campus. Should the car park be full please use Marriotts Walk or Woodford Way car parks which are a few minutes' walk away. Please report to Reception on arrival. A photo-id will be issued for you to wear when attending classes.Vending machines are available.
