This is a general course in Acting for those with little/no experience or for those returning to the subject.
The course will focus mainly on acting for the stage, but will include elements of acting for television and voice work. We will explore a range of plays and learn how an actor prepares and creates a character. The course will focus on practical acting classes including work on dramatic texts and acting exercises.

"Facilities at Abingdon Campus:- Vending machines and Costa Coffee shop (open until 7pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday term time only).- Watercoolers available, making it easy to refill your water bottle.- Free parking. Please note due to half term there will be no session on 16/02/2026."

Entry criteria
An interest in theatre, drama and the art of acting. No previous stage or screen experience necessary.
Fee information
As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
