Oxfordshire County Council

Oxfordshire County Council deliver services to the county's 600,000+ residents.

A wide range of jobs and vacancies

Oxfordshire County Council offers a wide range of council jobs within Oxfordshire across social care, libraries, fire and rescue, education, museums, roads and transport, environment, planning and economic growth.

We partner with Oxford County Council to provide a variety of apprenticeships including Early Years and Business Administration.

"Almost all of our apprenticeships have gone into permanent roles. It's a good investment for businesses as they can recruit young people who understand how the business works and have been trained by them. The benefit for the employer is four times what they have to invest."

David, Private Sector Team Leader, Oxford County Council

Apprentice Success

Caitlyn joined Oxford County Council as a Housing Options Apprentice and soon became a valued member of the team. Within months, her employer had highlighted that she far exceeded where they expected her to be, as she “took all aspects of the apprenticeship in her stride”.

Caitlyn won Apprentice of the Month in recognition of all her hard work.
