Vice Principal for Curriculum and Quality
Scott joined Abingdon & Witney College in 2022 as Head of Faculty for Creative Industries before progressing to Vice Principal for Curriculum and Quality in 2023.
Scott joined the College with over 15 years’ experience in Further Education, having previously worked at a College in Watford. He worked his way up from an hourly paid lecturer to becoming Head of Curriculum for a variety of Faculties including Health & Social Care, Public Services, Construction, Early Years, and Sport.
“I have always had a passion for education and seeing young people achieve. From the learner that reaches the next level of their qualification, to the learner that goes on to get a degree, and who gets a job in the industry that matches their passions.
I don’t think anyone gets into Further Education unless they want to make a difference. We all want the best for our students, and the most enjoyable part of my job is getting to work with a brilliant team who share my drive and ambition to see students develop.”
