Last week, our Public Service and Sports students embarked on an exciting four-day residential bootcamp at the New Forest National Park. The annual trip provided the perfect opportunity for our new students to bond with their course mates while being put through their paces - both mentally and physically in busy week of activities starting with Fitness each day at 6am!
Each year, the bootcamp features a wide range of challenging activities designed to help our students develop their teamwork, resilience, and problem-solving skills. This year, our students tackled the high ropes, participated in problem-solving exercises, and engaged in a range of sports including volleyball. They also sharpened their observational skills and took part in team-building activities such as SPM (Strategic Physical Manoeuvres) to test their strategic thinking.
This residential was not only an opportunity for personal growth but a brilliant opportunity for our students to build strong team dynamics to help them in their busy year to come. Well done to all our students for pushing themselves out of their comfort zones as they enjoy this exciting start to the new year. We can’t wait to see what you get up to next!
