Abingdon CampusYou will develop confidence in everyday conversations through themes such as countries and nationalities, jobs, expressing opinions about your work and discussing pay. Your numerical skills will also expand, allowing you to understand and use numbers into the thousands and millions, as well as proportions and percentages.
The course builds on the grammar introduced in Beginners A and strengthens your understanding of key structures. You will deepen your knowledge of tenses, improve your word order and become more comfortable forming accurate sentences. You will also practise identifying the main points in short, contemporary texts to support your reading and comprehension skills.
To ensure a smooth start, we recommend enrolling at least 2½ weeks before the course begins. Full course details will be confirmed two weeks before the start date.
Facilities at Abingdon Campus:- Vending machines and a Costa Coffee shop (open until 7pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday during term time)- Watercoolers for easy bottle refills- Free parking
Please note: There will be no session on 16/02/2026 due to half term.
As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
