Why not learn how to complete spray tans and Gelish, the list goes on. We offer so many different enrichment courses so you can gain lots of information and practical skills whilst you’re studying with us.
Cutting Hair: During this unit you will learn how to develop the basic skills you learnt in level 2 to create wonderful haircuts (as mentioned above). For you to be a competent stylist it’s important to have a good knowledge of the basic cuts so you can really progress in this level. We will teach you how to create short hair styles that can either be used on female or male clients.
Colouring the hair: Colouring the hair in a creative way is time for you to show people what you can do. Instead of working with your basic techniques you will be learning how create ombre effects, slices, colour correction and block colours. There is theory that goes along side with this practical unit as you need to understand how the colour works within the hair and how to put a colour correct if it goes round.
Hair up: This unit is a chance for you to play with hair. You will learn how to create advent guard styles as well as classic bridal looks.
Hair extensions: During this unit you will learn a variety of hair extension techniques such as weaves, bonds, glue in’s and how to plait hair in. This is an excellent opportunity to have this skill under your belt.
As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
