This entry level study programme aims to offer a broad range of vocational skills to help you decide on your future career and training path. Each term you can sample different units which help you to discover different work environments and industries.
The course runs alongside a range of additional accreditations including maths and English according to your previous achievements, needs and interests. Enrichment activities and tutorials will ensure that you gain the additional skills needed to progress.
Students have moved on to Level 1 and Level 2 courses at College and have also gone onto apprenticeships. Students may also wish to seek employment on completion of the course.
There are no formal entry requirements. This course is designed to prepare young people who are not yet able to join a vocational programme for college life and enable them to achieve appropriate English and Maths qualifications for progression.
As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
