In order to avoid disappointment, it is advisable to enrol at least 2½ weeks prior to the course starting. We will confirm course information two weeks prior to the start date.
The course focuses on developing skills for life and introducing learners to skills for work and covers 5 skills areas:
1. Using devices and handling information
2. Creating and editing
3. Communicating
4. Transacting
5. Being safe and responsible online
Please note that learners will be required to attend an assessment session prior to the start date of the course.
Please note there will be no classes on: 22/12/2023, 29/12/2023,16/02/2024, 29/03/2024, 05/04/2024 & 12/04/2024.
There are vending machines available where hot/cold drinks and snacks can be purchased. There are watercoolers on site making it easy to refill your water bottle.
There is no parking on the campus during the day. Please use Marriotts Walk or Woodford Way Car Parks which are a few minutes’ walk away.
Please report to Reception on arrival. A photo-id will be issued, for you to wear when you attend classes.
As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.

Learners are assessed informally throughout the course to track progress towards exam readiness. Learners will take an externally set, online exam at the end of the course.
