Anyone who is new to the concept of Life Coaching and would like to learn more.
What the course will cover:
This course will provide participants with the opportunity to explore what it means to be a Life Coach and to practise new skills in a fun environment.
Life Coaching can help you to assess your life, as well as learn to listen and help others to identify changes they may want to make. Find out more about models and methods including focused listening, effective questioning and goal setting. Consider ways to build an appropriate coaching relationship that facilitates someone identifying what they want to achieve and the steps they need to take to get there.
The course offers a good change to try this new, exciting field, in a fun and safe environment. Why not come along and meet new learners and develop your new-found skills in a safe environment.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- describe the key principles of a coaching relationship
- identify the benefits of a Life Coach when working toward positive change
- explored various tools and techniques that support the role of a coach

For the first week of the course you will need to bring a valid form of identification; this includes passport, driving licence, debit/credit card, Birth Certificate or National Insurance card.
Please note - you should be 19 years old or over at 31st August 2023 prior to starting the course.
Before starting a course, the College is required to check you meet conditions relating to that funding, e.g. age, residency status within the UK/EEA, prior qualification level and employment status. In some circumstances (such as with online enrolments), these checks can only be completed after you have enrolled and paid.
If you are unable to pay in full for this course at the time of enrolment, and the course tuition fee is £300 or more, an instalment plan is available. If this is your preference, please do not enrol online but rather call the Admissions Team on 01235 216400 to enrol.
Once enrolled, Admissions will take the first instalment payment from you and pass on your details to the Finance team who will email you to set-up your payment plan. Please return a fully completed instalment plan to Finance as failure to do so could result in being withdrawn from your course.

As this is a non-accredited course, there is no formal qualification. However, you will be required to measure your progress by completing a RARPA form which represents the Recognition and Recording of your Progress and Achievement.
